Same but different

Hey guys, so as you can tell Georgia and I haven't posted on here for a while. To be honest we both have extremely busy lives and it makes it hard for us to catch up all the time and put both of our hearts into the one creation. Having to collaborate on every post was super hard and timing consuming for us. It's been a great adventure and we've loved every second of writing our blog. We've learnt so much for the experience and it's given us both the confidence to venture out and attempt this on our own, (with a little of the others help, of course <3). Therefore we wanted to share with you our new babies and creations,

Georgia's new blog Coffee Confidential xo:

Whats In My Bag | Packing for NZ with G

So with my inability to pack light and that fact that I've never been to New Zealand and have no clue what I'm doing, I thought regardless I would share with you what I am actually bringing with me on my trip to NZ with Paige

Packing 101 | Cold Weather Holidays!

So as some of you may know, we are off to New Zealand in only a matter of days!
Now being the unorganised person I can sometimes (always) be, packing is an event that has yet to occur for moi so I decided to share my best tips for packing for a cold holiday.

Don't over pack
You always want to have room in your luggage in the event you decide to lash out and buy some nice things upon your holiday, or incase you know, your clothes just expand in size and theres no fitting them back in the same suitcase.

Remember you can wash things
Same lines as don't over pack, but you don't need a new outfit for every single day. Sure if you're travelling for 3 days maybe yeah, but for 4 days or more remember you can just wash stuff and like. I don't know... Wear it again?!

Whether you're travelling for 3 weeks or 3 months, you need the same amount of clothes.

Read that. Live that. It's a little something my dad always used to say to me and it's unbelievably true. If you're there for 3 weeks you need the same amount of clothes for 3 months.

Plan out every outfit
I'm one to find myself packing my favourite pieces of clothing, and then in the following hours running back and forth to my suitcase adding "just one more shirt I found that I might wear". No. Plan out each day, what you will wear for the activities you are doing - and STOP THERE!

Plan to fill half your suitcase...
As daunting and impossible as that may sound, it's a good mental goal to have so that your head isn't trying to fill your entire suitcase. It will prevent you from adding in random impulse piece of clothing and help you to only pack what you really need and want to.

See you soon and hope this helps!

The Tuesday 10 | 10 Ways to Be More Confident

THE TUESDAY 10

10 Ways to Be More Confident

1. Hold your head up.
Not kidding instead of walking around looking at the ground a meter in front of you, look up. Look at people, at the strangers wandering by and the world passing you by. You might not real side a change but believe me your persona will change to be a more confident you!

2. Don't second guess yourself.
If you believe in something or you have made up your mind, don't let society change that. There's only ever going to be 1 you and if you let society mould you into a stereotype puzzle piece you've given up your opportunity to be something great. Something amazing.

3. Don't change who you are.
Along side not letting society alter your beliefs, don't let people change who you are. Don't stop liking "Stitches" by Sean Mendes because a friend once told you it's the worst song ever. Don't pretend to loooove that Matcha Green Latte (ew) because some girl on a blog post said it was 'ew'. Yes it's great to have commonalities with your friends, but I mean if neither of you like Matcha Green Lattes there wouldn't be anyone left to drink them if we all continued changing to copy our friends in fear of judgement.

4. Don't be afraid of being judged.
I for one fall and shatter quite badly when it comes to being 'judged'. I play sport and I'm constantly asked why I don't just "give it a go" and for once I actually thought about my answer and realized it was because I was afraid if I couldn't succeed I would be judged. But to be completely honest...
People care more about themselves than they do you. So if you muck up, they will be more concerned about if THEY can do it, not if you did/can.

5. Quit the negative talk.
The big bad world can be a scary and negative place as it is, so the added chitchat from your mind telling you you can't do it isn't really necessary. I truly believe that at least 90% of being able to do something is believing you can. I'm mean if you don't believe you can do something, you'll never even attempt it and overall that literally eliminates all possibilities of you ever trying something new. Tell your self you can and WILL do something, and you're 90% of the way there!

6. Surround yourself with confident people.
Hanging around people that bring you down or who are quieter than you can often make your situation worse. Not saying anything bad about quiet people - boy see me when I'm tired and I'm the quietest tiny person you'll meet. But what I mean is if you are wanting to be more confident in yourself, go find a really outgoing friend who tries new things without second guessing it. Go find a friend who is always first to volunteer for activities or opportunities and you'll find from hanging out with them you'll start to do the same.

7. Have good posture.
As well as walking around with your head up, have good posture. Stand tall. Stand proud! Just from changing the way you walk and hold yourself changes the way people see you and how you perceive yourself. Instead of wandering around hunched over and staring up at the world, put your goddamn shoulders back and walk with the world. Walk into it. Show them hair who you are.

8. Don't compare yourself to others.
I've know you've heard it all before that 'everyone's story is different ' but that's 100% true. You can't compare your life and what you are capable of with the person next to you as their journey has consisted of millions of events dofferent to yours that they have experienced differently to you that has shaped them to be who they are today. And sure some peoples lives seem pretty dandy, but we all take hardships differently and at different levels. Some people can deal with breakups marvelously and some of us not so much. That's just who we are.

9. Smile.
Just put on a gleamy white grin and you'll find your overall feeling of yourself will start to get a lot happier. People will see you as a friendly person and you'll seem more approachable. Obviously don't put on a mask if you've been upset by something, but instead of walking around looking bored beyond belief, just smile.

10. Once a day, step outside your comfort zone.
Just once a day do something a little different. One day it might be something little like smiling at a stranger, or something a little bigger like saying Hi to an old school friend you've seen in the cafe your in.

The Tuesday 10 | 10 Reasons to hate Tuesdays a little less

THE TUESDAY 10

10 Reasons to hate Tuesdays a little less

1. You're already 28.57% of the way through the week, and to me that's quite a grand achievement! You go superstar!

2. You made it through the agony of bye-bye-freedom-hello-Monday.

3. Marylin Monroe was born on a Tuesday so the day is destined to be fabulous.

4. It's a proven fact that Tuesdays are the most productive day of the week 😀.

5. You're one 'extra-hot latte' closer to that coffee shop knowing your name and order. #lifegoals.

6. Cheap Tuesday's! Movie tickets. KFC. Pizza. Kids eat free. Do I really need to keep going?

7. One less day till the weekend. Come on only 3 more! You can do it!

8. In some religions Tuesday is considered a lucky day as in the first chapter of Genesis the paragraph about Tuesday contained the phrase "it was good" twice.

9. Tuesday is named after the planet Mars, which obvs is the best planet.

10. Airfares are cheaper on Tuesdays *wink wink* *nudge nudge* Did someone say holiday baby?

So there you have it! Go out and have a great Tuesday ❤️

Last Day Of Summer

February the 29th, the last day of summer for 2016. It's been one hell of a summer. Parties, beaches, cocktails, sun and after today it all comes to end. Don't get me wrong, I love winter and I'm excited to curl up with a good movie and my fluffy socks but I can't help but reminisce on the glorious summer. After today we'll be back to uni and those tan's will be history. Here are some of my summer best bits.

What did you get up to this summer?

Lots of Love Gi & P xx
