Benefit Hoola Bronzer Review

 IN LOVE
Honestly I'm so thankful I purchased this product! It's possibly my favourite bronzer at the moment. I mostly using it for contouring so it's matte finish works perfectly. It's hassle free and blends super easily. As you can tell I'm super duper pale so finding a bronzer suitable is always a challenge - I was using Laguna by Nars, which worked well for me but to be honest I always felt it was slightly too dark and I had to be extra careful when applying it. Hoola is super buildable since it works for me as well as some of my friends who aren't quite as pale. My best friend is a lot darker than me, as in she's from India, so yea, a bit of a difference. She's as dark as I am when I've had my tan and this product looks amazing on her! In all fairness she's gorgeous and doesn't need it but we used it for her make up to a ball a couple of weeks back and it looked phenomenal. I recently got a tan for a competition and used Hoola for contouring and it worked sensationally. It's a cooler coloured bronzer as opposed to a lot of products that tend to be warmer in shade.

I bought a new sculpting brush (the real techniques one) to help apply the product but to be honest the brush it comes with works incredibly. I like to apply with the brush it came with first and then use my sculpting brush to blend. I find I get the flawless finish this way. I haven't really used it for bronzing my whole face so I can't give you a good review of that but I've read it's great. I don't bronze my face all over often enough to give a solid remark about this product regarding that, however, I can say that the few times I've used to do so it's produced amazing results.

It's quite pricey but no more expensive than Laguna and I think it's such an incredible investment! Definitely my favourite recent make up purchase. And for how much you get and how long it lasts it's not too bad of a price for such great quality.

I will say I'm not overly struck on the packaging I think they could have designed this one slightly better. It's unnecessarily bulky.

But other than that it's the holy grail of bronzers!!!  IN LOVE!!

Skin Care Routine

Hey guys!
So skincare has always been a bit of a hit-and-miss for me.

Currently I use Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action Gel Wash on a daily basis, as well as the Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action Deep Pore Scrub probably twice a week. I have used products from the Clearasil Ultra Rapid range for quite a few years and it has always done the trick for me, when I keep it up.

About a year I had a bit of a break from this range and used Natio's Young range. I replaced my facewash with Natio's Young: Wash It Off Cleanser and my face scrub with Natio's Young: Pore Unclogging Face Scrub.

In addition to this I used Natio's Young: Oil Control Toning Lotion, Young: Oil Free Moisturiser and Young: Tinted Spot Cream. I quite liked this product range and how it worked for my skin. If I didn't consistently wash my face every night -- accompanied with toning and moisturizing, my skin would begin to break out. As well as this, it took about a week of thorough use for my skin to begin to improve again. Besides this, consistent use of the product resulted in having nice clear skin.

Surprisingly the Natio Young range is quite affordable, and can be purchased in skin-care packs which lessens the price even more!

I would wash my face every night, followed by using the toner and moisturizing about half an hour before I went to bed. Whenever a spot came up I simply applied a minimal amount of the tinted spot cream which both reduced the redness and appearance of the pimple, as well as helping making it go away!

I hope this review has given you some insight into 2 of my favourite face-care brands, but regardless everyone's skin is different. Some generalized products work for a lot of people, such as the two brands listen above. I would say that Natio's Young range is slightly more so targeted towards oily skin as a lot of their products are oil free or non-oil based in order to reduce oily skin. Whenever trying a new product make sure to not expect immediate results. I usually allow 1-2 weeks of consistent use to determine whether a product works well with my skin (obviously if a product is harming your skin stop use ASAP!).

If you find that a particular product works well with your skin - as I did with Clearasil's face wash, I would suggest using other products from the same range. When I was younger I also used Clearsil's rapid action pimple cream and (for me) both the Clearasil products worked quite well together!

Having said this, remember as you get older and change, so does your skin! Sometimes searching for a new face-wash is necessary as the way your skin reacts to your body, or even the weather of where you live changes how effective certain washes will be. I find that in colder months my skin is dramatically less oily and at times using my normal face-wash makes my skin worse! Oops... Oh well, it takes time to understand just how your skin works.

So go out and find a face-wash for you!
