So a favourite recipe of mine that I got from a family friend was her homemade sorbet!
It's a quick 5 minute recipe that can be used with any frozen fruit, but today I've chosen to use frozen berries. It can be a desert on it's own, a light healthy snack, or something yummy on the side - like served with pancakes!
What you'll need:
- 1 large cup of frozen fruit
- 1 teaspoon of either caster sugar or icing sugar
- Blender
- Water
- Desecrated coconut (optional)
Add all the ingredients but the water in the blender. At first the mixture will develop into little balls,
like cut up frozen fruit.
This is when you begin adding the water.
Start off by adding 1 table spoon, and continue adding tablespoons of water until the consistency is that of sorbet!
Serve in a cute bowl or with pancakes and you're done!
Finally finish by topping the sorbet with a sprinkle of the desecrated coconut.
Too easy!
